TQ’s recent trek to the South Pole was a wild success! This amazing video was filmed during the adventure by a Japanese filmmaker in the group with a GoPRO camera mounted to a small drone.

The first portion of the video was taken at base camp, the tent village at Union Glacier. This is the base camp where most adventurers start and end their expeditions including Geoff Wilson featured here skiing in this video out of camp with his pink sled raising funds for breast cancer with his pink polar expedition.

The second portion of the video shows our excursion to a glacier in search of meteorites in a specially adapted big Ford 6 wheeler about an hour’s drive from camp. Adventurers are seen roping up and getting ready to walk about 1 kilometer to the glacier, all tied together by rope for safety. The group found a total of 9 meteorites – very impressive!
