As we depart from Barcelona, the vibrant heart of Catalonia, the stunning skyline rich in history and artistry unfolds before you, with the iconic structures of Antoni Gaudí bidding you farewell in the distance.
Soon, we set our course for the Balearic Islands, a stunning archipelago renowned for its crystal-clear waters, ancient ruins and dramatic cliffs that give way to lush valleys. Here, charming coastal villages adorned with whitewashed buildings and colorful markets welcome you, where the enticing aroma of fresh olives and local delicacies fill the air. Then, as our elegant yacht glides along the southern coast of Spain, we’ll delve into some of Andalucía’s most picturesque and traditional villages, long cherished as sources of inspiring travelers and poets for centuries.
And after visiting the legendary Rock of Gibraltar, often regarded as one of the fabled Pillars of Hercules, we’ll approach Tangier, a jewel situated at the northern edge of Morocco. As we near the city, you’ll sense the rich tapestry of cultures that has historically made this place a crossroads of civilizations. And then from our hand selected viewing site and against the backdrop of sun-drenched alleys and bustling markets, you’ll prepare to witness the highlight, the total solar eclipse sweeping across Northern Africa on August 2nd.
