Sky & Telescope’s J. Kelly Beatty and astronomer Dr. Glenn Schneider. The expertise of these veteran eclipse-chasers proved invaluable in planning and executing two highly successful airborne intercepts of the November 2003 total solar eclipse over Antarctica.
To further assure great eclipse viewing for everyone aboard, we are limiting the capacity on our Airbus 330-200 aircraft. Before and after the eclipse, there will be plenty of room to move around and view from both sides of the aircraft, all the while enjoying expert commentary on the eclipse, North Pole geography/history, and the natural wonders below us.
